All of us at Lavery Automotive hope you had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We sincerely hope that 2026 will be a wonderful year for you and your family. 

It is with heavy hearts that we share some somber news that you may already be aware of. In late November, Terry Christy passed away. As you know, Terry was truly one of the finest human beings you could ever meet. He was kind, genuine, and cared for his customers as if they were his own family.

Terry was a loyal member of the Lavery Automotive family for over 35 years, and it’s hard to put into words how deeply he will be missed. Over the past year or so, Terry and I had many conversations more recently in the last year about his plans to retire. One thing he spoke about often was how much he wanted to personally thank his customers for their loyalty and trust over the years. It was customers like you who made Terry proud to come to work every day and who made his career here so meaningful. Helping people with their automotive needs wasn’t just his job — it was something he truly loved.

Although Terry is no longer with us, it was his hope that the people he welcomed into the Lavery dealership family would continue to feel at home here. It is both my job and my sincere hope to make sure you always feel like part of our family, because you are the reason we show up every day. Whether you are purchasing a vehicle or servicing the one you already own, please know that we will continue to carry the torch for Terry — exactly as he would have wanted.

Thank you for your continued business and loyalty over the years. We look forward to seeing you in our dealership in the near future. Until then, may Terry rest in peace, and may God bless his wife Debbie of 54 years and his entire family. Which we know he loved so much.
